Shortly after iOS 18.4: Apple is preparing next update – but it is not iOS 18.5

Only recently, Apple has released iOS 18.4 for all current iPhones. On board included new emojis, priority notifications and Apple Intelligence features. But not everything is going on smoothly, which is why the next update could already be imminent.

According to the fan blog 9to5Mac, the first clues would have emerged in analytics data in which Apple is working on a classic with iOS 18.4.1. The release could even be released in the next few days. The goal would be to fix minor errors and improve performance.

iOS 18.4.1 to fix several errors

We had previously reported connection issues with some car brands with after the update to iOS 18.4. Some iPhone users also noticed poor battery life and higher heat development, or the problem that deleted apps suddenly reappear. Apple should target exactly these points now.

Although there is not yet official information about the changes, the direction is clear. The update to iOS 18.4.1 is intended to iron out the errors of iOS 18.4 and provide another fine-tuning. As soon as the update appears, the installation is worth it for you if it is not currently running very smoothly. The latest version sometimes provides problems with CarPlay, but also brings three new features.
