Mandatory update for 36 Samsung phones: Those who do not respond quickly could get problems

Apart from updates for new features, or a new design, mobile phone manufacturers such as Samsung also regularly distribute software updates that are designed to keep the operating system stable and protect your devices from hackers. And the latest update of this type is already available for several phones.

On the March 2025 security update info page, Samsung announced the number of vulnerabilities that the new update is to fix: a total of 58, 51 of which were discovered in the Android operating system provided by Google. The remaining 7 affect Samsung operating systems based on Android 13, Android 14 and Android 15.

As the fan blog SamMobile reports, the update for some smartphones (such as the Galaxy S21 FE) is currently only available in certain regions, such as Korea or the USA. In the next few days, however, it is likely to appear here as well.

40 Vulnerabilities are “highly risky,” and 11 are “critical.”

Samsung’s information article on the new software says that a total of 40 of the vulnerabilities were classified as “highly risky” and 11 as “critical”. Accordingly, you should not wait for me to install the long if the update is available to you.

By the way, there is already information about the new Samsung operating system, One UI 7.0, which is based on Android 15. For a total of 27 smartphones, publication dates have been mentioned.
