One UI 7.0: Hidden S25 feature for older phones in the latest update
According to Sammyfans’ reports, Samsung is preparing to introduce the “Now Brief” feature of the Galaxy S25 for the Galaxy S24 series. The South Korean manufacturer has recently released the Update One UI 7 Beta 6, which contains the Now Brief function of Galaxy AI, but it is not yet usable.
Now Brief is an AI-powered feature available on the Galaxy S25, providing a personalized summary of selected content that is updated throughout the day. Information from various apps is collected and presented.
One UI 7 for the first devices on 7. April
According to the report, some users could already activate Now Brief on older Galaxy devices without One UI 7. This means that there is no hardware limitation for use on older devices. However, manual activation has so far required root access. The Update One UI 7 Beta 6 is designed to simplify the activation.
Samsung plans to launch the stable One UI 7 version on 7. April on some devices such as the Galaxy S24 series, the Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6. It remains to be seen whether the Now Brief-Function will be available. However, Samsung could deploy the feature shortly with an update or feature.
